This is my favorite piece - about a Chef making the best sandwich in the world.
“We will be right back! Here are some messages from our sponsors!”
“HEY KIDS!”
“I bet you're just sitting there right now and wondering what you want to eat for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! Well don't you worry as I’ve got the solution for you! The Greatest Sandwich in the WOOOOOOOOORLD!”
“To make the Greatest Sandwich in the WOOOOOOOOOORLD! You need some ingredients! You’ll need the classics like bread, tomato, ham, cheese and maybe a bit of PB and J in there if you like. Now listen carefully - Scientists say that you must put the ingredients on VERY carefully or the sandwich won’t taste as great.”
“Now. We are going to start off by putting the lettuce carefully onto the bread and we we will follow it up by putting some ham on. After that - if you are having PB and J then you should put it on now. Put the cheese and tomato on!”
“But… there is one ingredient we forgot to put in… one ingredient that would change the sandwich game forever… Tomato Sauce! (Or ketchup if your from Murica.) Just pour all the contents on without any thought! Then throw on some more cheese, ham and finally lettuce.”
“You should now have the GREATEST SANDWICH IN THE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD! Did you enjoy your meal? If you did, great! Now onto the next public message that you must watch instead of making this really good sandwich.”
“But before I go! Scientists and doctors also say that this is the most healthiest sandwich you can have! So you better make it 24/7/365!”
“I’m Chef Neilson if you didn’t know that - remember to buy my cookbook and you will have a good appetite all year round! Now back to your show as we took up the entire time slot for commercials…”
